I already have a Snap Circuit 300 or 750 kit from Elenco!

 

If you have the Snap Circuit 300 (SC-300), all you need to do is go to the Parts Order Website below and order a few extra parts.  Be sure to request the book for Snap Circuit 202 or download and print it yourself (instructions below).  If you have the SC-750 all you need is the last item in the list (3-spring socket) and the manual to be compatible. 

 

If you are outside the United States, you can order the kit "SC-300" online from http://www.shopatron.com/products/productdetail/part_number=ELESC-300/442.0
 
Then you must order a few extra parts (below) to make your kit equivalent to the Radio Shack "Snap-Kit 202" which is the required kit for this class.

one -- 6SCM3 Electromagnet $6.95

one --  6SCM3B Iron Core Rod $0.75

one --  6SCPY1 2-spring socket $2.95

one -- 6SCPYQ 3-spring socket $3.95

One  --  753296 Manual for the Snap-Kit 202  ($9.95 as of December 2009)

 

You must request that the RS-202 manual be included in your order.  You cannot order the manual from their website.  Give the company special instructions to include the manual for the Snap-Kit 202 when you place your order for the above parts.  The part number for the manual is 753296,  ($9.95 as of December 2009) and you must request this item because there is not a link on the website for this item.
